marianne lan-anh dang is an interdisciplinary artist-engineer, writer & designer. they’re passionate about the design of physical space and experience (especially sustainable/biophilic/horticultural design), but are also equally passionate about the possibilities offered in the digital realm by mixed/extended reality + emerging technology.

to them, these mediums seem at times, at odds with one another–much in the way that our presences online vs. 'irl' often seem to contend with each other. they’re most interested in continuing to explore how the digital and physical can come together to form meaningful digital-physical spaces/experiences for individuals and communities. they've always been deeply fascinated by mixed media installations and think that they can effectively bring agency/share expression with the visitors who interact with them.

through their practice, they ultimately want to investigate the convergence of myriad physical/digital identities & spaces, and explore how one’s selves transform across these realities.
